Traditional Usage: The Story

Achyranthes Aspera is grown in many parts of India and used as a traditional medicinal herb. Various parts of the herb are used for various symptoms. The natives and traditional healers use this herb in treatment of over 90 common and complicated symptoms both internally and externally.

Particularly, the use of seeds as food makes the body capable of tolerating a long time without food. These seeds reduce the appetite and give enough stamina to tolerate the hunger. The seeds are used by the natives to curb their appetite during their long walk in search of food or wood.

Natives also prepare a special food called “Kheer” by cooking those seeds. It helps to suppress appetite for longer time without resulting in any weakness.

After studying the traditional usage, we brought this ancient wisdom to our lab to create AimSlim™!
